Blog Assignment

I like the Personality Profile Example about the skimboarder more. It was interesting and kept me glued until the last sentence. I thought  it was well written and detailed. The quotes were great and weren't cluttered in just one area. The writer did a good job at informing the reader about the sport and of the woman whom it was about. Another reason why I liked it is because I related to it. I have the same passion she has for skimboarding but towards karate. I'm a black belt and reaching that goal didn't come without cuts, scrapes and bruises. We both share that. That's why I like this one better.

Rich Tosches

Rich Tosches has a unique writing style that grabs your attention after the first sentence. There;s never a dull moment. He's blunt and really forces the reader through his perspective. In a good way. He has such a distinct voice, that after reading just one his comlumns, it grows on you and almost makes you want to read some of his other columns.
I've never read a column writer with such a direct and interesting voice. Others I've read were simply boring observations and dull details. He really doesn't care what his readers think. That;s what I like about him. The one I thought was the most interesting was the colun on Tebow. Probably I completely agreed with everything he said.
I read the columns on Tebow, ice fishing, and Hazlehurst
